A team headed by contractor Myers & Chapman was able to meet the challenge. The company moved this summer into its 140,000-square-foot facility in The Park in Huntersville. It has a composite concrete floor, unbroken by saw joints or cracks.
It’s called a PrimX flooring system, and it’s the first installation in the Southeast. It’s designed not to crack, and the product is holding up to its promises, builders say.
The 55,000-square-foot composite concrete slab was delivered on time despite the spring’s unusually wet weather.
The building consists of 100,000 square feet of warehouse and production area and another 40,000 square feet of Class-A office.
