Big Beverages Contract Manufacturing (BBCM), announced the opening of its beverage co-packing facility in Huntersville, N.C. BBCM plans to be fully operational in late Spring 2020 and will occupy the 170,000 square foot facility owned by Scannell Properties located in The Park-Huntersville.
“With over 3,000 new beverage products being created each year in the U.S., beverage co-packing facilities are in high demand,” said Tim Goff, former Coca-Cola executive and founder and CEO of BBCM.
Big Beverages Contract Manufacturing will start production with one high speed line that can produce 1200 cans per minute. The company has plans to add additional lines over the next 18 months and bring in 60 new jobs to Huntersville.
“Big Beverages Contract Manufacturing will be a great addition to Huntersville,” said Mayor John Aneralla. “It is exciting to see a large spec industrial building occupied so quickly – it really shows the strength in our market.”
At this time, BBCM’s first production line is 80 percent sold out.
